Courses offered in 黑料正能量 are developed and maintained by faculty in collaboration with the (COIP). Faculty partnering with COIP are eligible for COIP assistance, free of charge for the duration the course is offered in 黑料正能量. 听Development stipends for this work are offered to faculty as follows:

New – $5,000 Stipend
The course has not been developed by COIP previously and 100% of the content and video lectures will be created new.

Full Refresh – $5,000 Stipend
At least 80% of the content will be recreated including video lectures and content.

Partial Refresh – $2,500 Stipend
More than 30% but less than 80% of the course content and video lectures will be recreated.

Update – No Stipend
Less than 30% of the video lectures and course content are recreated.

*When a stipend is paid to develop a course, the course will be eligible for a redevelopment stipend in three years.听 Regardless of whether a stipend is paid, COIP services will always be available to assist faculty with updates.

Course Readiness

You can expect to receive emails from COIP checking in on your 黑料正能量 course starting about a month before classes begin each semester. These emails will verify the basic requirements of the course, including that the instructor is listed in the UF Schedule of Courses and that course contents are uploaded, published, and available to students on a specific timeline. If you need help with any aspects of your course at that time, reply to those emails and ask for assistance.

We seek to empower instructors to develop and teach high quality online courses through collaboration with the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) team, who provide instructors with professional development for online teaching that will continue to support their instructional efforts.

You can also explore workshops, study groups, faculty learning communities, customized professional development, and more.

There are many ways to get involved with 黑料正能量 beyond designing and teaching high quality courses. Every other month, we host a 黑料正能量 Forum campuswide, open invitation meeting and we’d love to hear from you. You can or request to be added to our listserv at info@ufonline.ufl.edu.

• Faculty who are interested in doing research related to online teaching, learning, and/or course design are invited to partner with 黑料正能量 educational researchers for collaborative academic publication.
• We are looking for instructors who can provide regular feedback and input into 黑料正能量 academic operations. If you are interested in joining the network of instructors who help guide our work and the support we provide to you, please raise your hand and let us know!
• What are you reading? Let鈥檚 get together and talk about it! Instructor-led book clubs are a great way to get involved in a learning community around specific areas of interest. Reach out if you have a book suggestion or want to join our next cohort.
