The professional academic advisors who guide and nurture ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ and PaCE students towards their goals are the cornerstone of student success in all of our programs. As active members of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), these dedicated individuals enact evidence-based best practices for student development, persistence, and ultimately success, across all ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ programs in more than a dozen UF colleges.

In 2024, ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ is proud to report a student to advisor ratio of approximately 165 to 1 across all programs, enabling our advisors to offer in-depth and personalized support to each and every student.

ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ Advising Circle

Academic advisors working with ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ and PaCE students are supported by a community of practice of peers numbering more than thirty professionals across over a dozen UF colleges in 2024. The ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ team assists in facilitating and nurturing the ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ Advising Circle in collaboration with you, our deeply valued advisors.

Any UF academic advisor who supports ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ or PaCE students should participate in regular meetings as well as the private Teams channel for this community within the .

We are always open to suggestions, feedback, and requests for help if you, as an advisor, are not getting what you need to help you support students to the best of your ability. As you advise students in your major(s), remember that ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ offers a wide range of centralized supports. From free online tutoring to Keep Chompin’ emergency funds, we’ve got your students’ backs when their needs go beyond your scope of practice. The ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ team has a dedicated crew ready to step in and do their best, so call on them when you need to at studentsuccess@ufonline.ufl.edu. Connecting with ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿

The Advising Circle Teams channel can be found within the and contains information and supports shared privately with this community. Advisors should participate in regular meetings to share information with each other and with ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿, and to receive updates in all directions.

Resources & Highlights for Supporting ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ Students

Free, On-Demand Tutoring

ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ continues to fund free access to for students enrolled in ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ sections of specific courses that are assessed as highly challenging. With Knack, students can connect with experienced, on-demand professional tutors that have earned at least a master’s degree.

Keep Chompin’ Fund

ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ has created a resource, the , for students experiencing unexpected hardship and struggling to pay educational expenses that are causing an academic impact. Awards are limited to $1,000 per academic year; detailed eligibility criteria are described on the first page of the application form.

Academic advisors are encouraged to attend and actively promote ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿â€™s Signature Events. Dates and details will be shared throughout the year. These events offer valuable opportunities to strengthen connections, share resources, and celebrate what makes our UF community unique.
